This website is a distillation of everything that was best on the henry_herald LiveJournal and the we_few LJ group.  It is exclusively dedicated to the 1989 Kenneth Branagh version of Henry V and will not at any time be featuring fiction derived from any of the myriad other interpretations available; there are plenty of locations where fans of those can express themselves if they feel so inclined.

When we started, we imagined only a dozen or so people would ever be interested in our strange little delusions; however, as time has gone on, the numbers have grown and so has the volume of the stories, and so we feel that this is probably a good time to expand and put everything onto a slightly more permanent footing.

For the time being we'll still be active on LiveJournal as well, but DDoS attacks have made us a little bit nervous about the long-term future of LJ as a platform, and this website is the result. If it should come to pass that LiveJournal ever ceases to exist, we can carry on blogging here to our hearts' content.

Oh, and the title? We stole it from a certain play, but have taken our usual diabolical liberties with the words. In Act V Scene 2, Henry says to King Charles:

I pray you then, in love and dear alliance
Let that one article rank with the rest;
And thereupon give me your daughter.

We're pretty sure that was a slip of the tongue; obviously what he really meant to say was 'herald'.
